The concept is simple: People want a durable high quality and stylish bag that provides comfort above and beyond what all traditional bags provide.   But if it this was easy to achieve all the traditional bag makers would already be doing it. That fact didn’t stop the founder of paq bags, Matthew Jensen. To solve the problem he invented a buckle like you’ve never seen before.

The patented rotating buckle started out as a basic 3D printed proof of concept. After extensive testing and updates, it evolved into the design that it is today. The current rotating buckle is clean, and efficient. It provides the strength you need with ample rotation allowing your bag to move more freely with you. This allows the bag design to be sleek and strong. Each buckle can hold up to 300 lbs.

Paq bags primary focus is on providing excellent, functional design that excels in performing like a traditional bag, but we saw an opportunity to provide a bag that went beyond this. We wanted a bag that did more than carry your stuff. We created a bag that moves when you move, a bag that provides optimal comfort, and a bag that has a stylish look and feel to it.

Traditional backpacks are often created out of nylon or canvas material. This gives backpacks and carry-on bags their durability. The “paq one” goes a step further with all the durability a high-quality bag needs with a look and feel that you can appreciate. We scouted the world’s textile looms from North Carolina to Vietnam searching for the perfect fabric and what we came up with was a Melange Grey Polyurethane with TPU backing. This gives the bag the durability that urban travelers and hikers need, while offering comfort, lighter weight, and protection against the elements. Paq bags sleek design helps eliminate the cumbersome movement that you would typically associate with such a large and roomy bag. It’s just a carry-on, but you sure can fit a lot of stuff inside.

For us at paq, a traveling carry-on backpack is just the start. We also offer a line of bags ranging from a durable, high quality and great looking camera bag to an ultra lightweight day pack, and a mud/smell isolating shoe bag. Paq bags signature is the backpack that converts to a duffle bag, but no matter the application our bags are meticulously designed, tested, and redesigned to be the best they can be.

Don’t be ordinary. Be paq extraordinary.
